Memory Care Communities
Are you looking to enhance your offerings to your resident’s loved ones?
If you don’t already have the option of offering an ongoing Support Group, now there is a way to support them and your potential residents’ caregivers. This is also a beautiful way to welcome the caregivers in the neighborhood into your doors to make them feel part of a supportive community.

*All Support Groups run exactly one hour long to respect attendees’ time and schedules.
1 Hour of Support Group Facilitation
$150/hour payable via check, Paypal, Zelle, or Square Invoice
Support Groups for Adult Children of those with a memory impairment
This Support Group is best offered in the early evening after 5:00 PM
Support Groups for Spouses of those with memory impairment
This Support Group is intended for spouses of those with memory impairment—best offered during daylight hours.

*LaVon is a mandated reporter for Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation
What can they expect?
LaVon likes to use a mix of warmth, vulnerability, kind honesty about the disease process, audio/visual resources, and humor to make the conversation meaningful and memorable.
LaVon is the owner of Dragonfly Senior Navigation Services and a gerontologist, community educator, support group facilitator, and consultant in dementia care. Individual Consultation is intended for any informal, unpaid family caregiver on whom the responsibility of care has fallen. Whether you recently learned of a loved one’s memory loss diagnosis or have been in the thick of caregiving for several years, it is essential to know that you are not alone.

Frontline Caregivers
Group education for professional caregivers. These modules are intended for formal caregivers working in memory care communities, skilled care communities, adult day services, home health care agencies, hospice care organizations, and shared housing.

Family Caregivers
Group education for family and informal caregivers. These modules are intended for family caregivers, unpaid volunteers, fellow church members, neighbors, or anyone that has found themselves “informally” standing alongside someone with memory impairment.
